Soros Foundation Romania, the National School for Political and Administrative Studies-SNSPA and the National Association of Romanian Students-UNSR organized the “Immigration and development” debate on Monday, the 18th of January 2010, Room 111, 1st floor of the SNSPA, 6-8, Povernei Street, Bucharest.
Representatives of Romanian public institutions active in the immigration and aliens integration field, representatives of diplomatic missions in Romania, NGOs and immigrant’s associations, companies and trade unions, independent experts and researchers, as well as academia, students and other stakeholders attended the event. The debate represented a major opportunity to bring into the public agenda the relevant issues concerning the immigration management and aliens’ integration programs in Romania.
